Project Details
The US Army Corps of Engineers contracted with us to rehabilitate existing breakwater and construct new breakwater in Portage Lake, Michigan. We faced the existing concrete breakwater with 2,600 linear feet of steel sheet pile, and poured over 3,000 linear feet of concrete sidewalk. We also built 4,000 linear feet of new breakwater, and used 25,000 tons of 2-5 ton limestone to fill the rubble-mound breakwater structure.
